A vital element of faithful Evangelical Churches is the scripturally mandated support of Missions, both foreign and domestic.  County Line Community Church presently supports several missionaries that span the globe from Bangladesh to Japan.  Our goal is to faithfully uphold our missionaries in prayer, as well as assisting them financially by regular contributions to their needs.

Since January 2019,  CLCC has financially supported a broad collective of local para-church ministries as part of our missions plan. We are partnering with; Barnabas Ministries, Coopersville Cares Forgotten Man Ministries and Love INC.  Each of these ministries offers assistance to segments of the greater west Michigan community with unique needs beyond the physical walls of our church.  It is an honor to work along side them to expand sincere Christian love to those in need.

*Since two of our long time missionaries retired in June 2024, a missions committee was formed to prayerfully investigate potential foreign missionaries to support. Please pray for wisdom and direction for this committee as the oversee the CLCC missionary recommendation and approval process.

**On Sunday October 27 during our Quarterly Business Meeting, the Missions Committee formally recommended the Gobely family, who are serving at a boy’s orphanage in Zambia, Africa. The Elder team previously approved this recommendation and our congregation voted unanimously to welcome Morgan, Laura, Owen and Elise as new missonary representatives of CLCC!

ABWE missionaries to Peru, John and Wendy Patton, reported some health issues of John early in 2024 that prompted their early return back to Peru.  John was successfully treated and is doing much better.

Bangla Ministries Dave DeCook visited in April 2023 with an update of blessings within BMW.  Their approach in training up young believers to share the gospel in their native country reflects a shift in missions in the 21st century.

Career missionary Marlene Schutter visited CLCC on May 5th to give her final missions report and career overview. She continues to transition into retirment in west Michigan, after many years serving with Wycliffe and CTEN. She completed a final trip to PNG in August of 2024.

ABWE missionaries to Japan, Chris and Donna Sadowitz, visited County Line on Sunday April April 7, to give a report of their work (on website). It was a joy to have them with us and a wonderful surprise to have them join our Wednesday evening Prayer Gathering the next week. Prayers for a safe conclusion to their USA travel and return to Japan.

ABWE career missionaries, Doug and Sharon Martin recently sent a video update of their ministry and health to supporting churches, They have had a wide global exposure from Eastern Europe to their currrent leadership role at mission headquarters in PA. Doug is an innovator and is used by the Lord to expand ministries into undeveloped strategies.

Our Wednesday evening Prayer Gathering is a weekly small group format that meets from 7-8:15pm. We explore a Scripture passage, discuss the weekly Sermon Meditation and finish by praying through the bulletin Prayer Prompter. If you are looking for a Christian small group setting or are a prayer warrior, we would love to have you join us!

The focus of our Outreach Ministries is to minister and serve beyond the church walls to the surrounding community. Ongoing areas such as special prayer requests, meals, benevolence, counseling and assisting with events bring honor and focus upon Jesus Christ. Our goal is to enrich, direct, and encourage the Coopersville area to pursue a walk with the Lord and find a church home to worship and serve.

Under the leadership of Elder Randy Van Aelst and Mrs. Terry Andrews, County Line worships in music with a blend of contemporary Christian songs and classic hymns. If your giftedness lies in the area of music and you are looking for a church to utilize your talents, we would love to have you join us.
